Seminole County Public Schools pathways hosted several Saturday camps at several high schools, each of which included exciting, engaging, hands-on activities that introduced kids to some of the SCPS programs. COVID-19 SOPs:
Seminole County enables parents to opt-out of their children wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic, but kids must wear masks if there is no parental opt-out. In August 2021, 17% of pupils were given an exemption.

OCPS has developed outstanding educational programs
Orange County Public Schools (OCPS) educates students from 200 different nations who speak 167 different languages and dialects. OCPS has developed outstanding educational programs that have received national recognition to suit the needs of its pupils.
Five Orange County high schools made the top 5% of U.S. News and Global Report’s “America’s Best High Schools” list. The school board appoints the superintendent of Orange County Public Schools, and the board is elected every four years.
Volusia County Public School:
Volusia County is situated in the center of Florida’s gorgeous east coast. Volusia’s public school system has a diverse range of offerings. The system is the ninth-largest school district in the state and the county’s largest employer, with almost 61,000 pupils and over 8,000 workers.
The district has 45 elementary schools, 12 middle schools, and 9 high schools that serve the 16 cities. It serves around 63,000 students and is the 57th largest school system in the United States. Residents and workers in the county have access to a wide range of academic and social experiences and possibilities.
And over half of the district’s personnel are qualified teachers who are all certified by the state. Master’s degrees, educational professional degrees, and doctorate degrees are held by about 42% of the instructional personnel.

Awards and Achievements:
In 2005, Lake County Schools was awarded the first funding to create individualized learning. Outside of the classroom, students are prospering, with many student clubs receiving a national distinction for challenging STEM projects and great community service. R2DTools, a Cypress Ridge Elementary robotics team, competed in the VEX World Challenge 2016. For the second year in a row, Mount Dora High School’s Air Force JROTC unit received a Silver Star Community Service with Excellence Award.

The district is testing the first K-12 mobile STEM center in the US, a 45-foot motor vehicle with seven dynamic student learning units.
